    High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) and High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Infrastructure Expertise
    CESI has decades-long expertise in consultancy on HVAC and HVDC infrastructures, including feasibility studies, technical specifications, owner's engineering, quality assurance, and commissioning services.
    We have carried out outstanding activities worldwide, from Italy to Europe, China, South America, North America, Central Asia, and the Middle East, earning us recognition as a global leader in transmission system operations and international investments.
    Main Responsibilities:
    • Contribute to feasibility studies by selecting optimal parameters for HVDC equipment using network modeling software tools (e.g., PSCAD, ATP, EMTP-RV, PSSE, DigSilent)
    • Develop station layouts, electro-mechanical arrangements, and main equipment selections (e.g., transformers) for HVDC substations
    • Suggest possible filter banks (shunt compensators, smoothing reactors), ancillary equipment, and control & protection systems
    • Ensure quality of supplied products during factory and site acceptance tests
    • Interact with clients to guarantee excellence in delivery, aligning with technical and economic project targets
    • Coordinate junior engineers' activities for project execution
    Requirements:
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 10+ years of experience in HVDC infrastructure consultancy
    • Managerial skills: resource optimization, project coordination, flexibility, client interaction, and complex project management
    • Technical skills: main HVDC components, network modeling software, and applicable standards for Converter Stations
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of other foreign languages (Spanish, Arabic, or French) is a plus
