Neuromodulation (NMD) is one of the 6 business units within

Boston Scientific:

it is a fast-growing business, across 2 main franchises: Pain management and Brain stimulation, striving for category leadership in all its markets and driving profitable revenue growth and share gain.

It is continuously investing in new products through R&D or acquisitions to sustain its leadership.


The objective of this role is to support Boston Scientintic Neuromodulation Division in Italy in achieving the goals and objectives within the Radiofrequency (RF) & Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) franchise by supporting current business management & identifying new customers and referrals through remote channels.

The role will be inserted in a well-structured and performing team, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Business Development team.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive talent to develop as Inside Sales within our organization.


In your activities, you will be responsible to:

  • Collaborate with field force on a defined territory with an assigned pool of Boston Scientific customers. Deliver remote channel contacts with the focus of identifying business opportunities and to enhance sales results.
  • Proactively contact the assigned customers on a regular basis, mainly by phone, to promote selected products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Establish remote sustainable and business impactful relationship with any actor (e.g. KOL, physicians, head nurses, economic buyers) being part of the decisionmaking process of medical device procurements;
  • Perform online and offline market research to identify accounts based on qualitative and quantitative criteria and define a priority list of accounts for the field sales team to followup on;
  • Support the lead generation process by providing fresh contacts to be target by digital and traditional marketing activities;
  • Liaise with sales management team and field sales team to set appoinments with customers that have shown interest in the product and company and provide remote support to help the division achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets;
  • Develop as professional inside sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques fundamentals leveraging the usage of available systems and tools to proceed in the sales process
  • Upon request:
  • Complete centralized administration tasks relating to all assigned customers (tender, pricing approval, etc.) in collaboration with customer services to provide seamless customer experience;
  • Manage customer complaints and provide the best support to solve problems following the processes and procedures of the company;
  • Arrange shipment to customers of samples, marketing materials and any other information required;
  • Participate to internal team projects, sales meetings, training programs and conventions.

What are we looking for in you:

  • We are open to welcoming young graduates from different study fields, such as Engineering, Marketing and Business Administration or Linguistics studies;
  • Ability to follow up on customer needs along the entire relationship process with focus on sales;
  • Demonstrate marketing and sales acumen through business thinking and market comprehension;
  • Personal productivity, being driven to deliver on commitments and to respond, in a flexible way, when facing obstacles;
  • Ability to provide clear and impactful communication, verbally and through business writing. Tailor message to target audience and active listening;
  • Planning, organization and prioritization of daily tasks to meet established schedule with guidance of supervisor/manager;
  • Strong problem solving attitude through analysis of data and situation, following standard practices and company procedures;
  • Good analytical skills and ability to develop, understand and monitor sales results and analysis using the standard reporting and tools;
  • Participation and engagement in team dynamics
  • Local language and good level of English spoken and written;
  • Any previous little experience or knowledge about medical device or pharmaceutical industries will be considered a nicetohave;
  • Limited travel may be required, not more than 10 days per year.
