What does the role look like?

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Manage all aspects of the Project to ensure achievement of Project objectives
  • Execute the project plan and schedule to meet business case requirements for Supply Chain, RC, NRC & Capex
  • Support costing activity at the bid process, define with Commodities the Sourcing Strategy ensure NDA coverage, RFQ/Negotiation with Commodity, coordinate NPI Supplier Selection Review with Commodities and report LTA coverage, support Supplier review, place and manage PO, follow Customer reviews, coordinate industrialization
  • Manage Supplier Delivery and Quality performance to meet project requirements.
  • Establish and manage supplier relationships to provide the best competitive advantage.
  • Identify/support initiatives to reduce and/or contain cost, improve material flow, evaluate capacity, and manage material obsolescence.
  • Provide daytoday support into the Integrated Project Team activities with respect to Risk, Problem Resolution and hardware achievement.
  • Identify and manage problems and opportunities within the programme using CORE tools
  • Responsible for defining, reviewing and tracking On-Time Delivery through LOB or WIP tracker, Cost adherence and release drawing, Technical Information to suppliers.
  • Support the engineering team in the achievement of design for manufacture, design for cost

Skills:


  • 3 years of proven experience of successfully leading projects in delivering complex projects on time and within budget, preferably in an aerospace development context
  • Good knowledge of project management techniques, including scheduling and risk management
  • Fluent English
  • Microsoft Office Tools capability
  • SAP capability
