What does the role look like?

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

Manage all aspects of the Project to ensure achievement of Project objectives
Execute the project plan and schedule to meet business case requirements for Supply Chain, RC, NRC & Capex
Support costing activity at the bid process, define with Commodities the Sourcing Strategy ensure NDA coverage, RFQ/Negotiation with Commodity, coordinate NPI Supplier Selection Review with Commodities and report LTA coverage, support Supplier review, place and manage PO, follow Customer reviews, coordinate industrialization
Manage Supplier Delivery and Quality performance to meet project requirements.
Establish and manage supplier relationships to provide the best competitive advantage.
Identify/support initiatives to reduce and/or contain cost, improve material flow, evaluate capacity, and manage material obsolescence.
Provide daytoday support into the Integrated Project Team activities with respect to Risk, Problem Resolution and hardware achievement.
Identify and manage problems and opportunities within the programme using CORE tools
Responsible for defining, reviewing and tracking On-Time Delivery through LOB or WIP tracker, Cost adherence and release drawing, Technical Information to suppliers.
Support the engineering team in the achievement of design for manufacture, design for cost

Skills:

3 years of proven experience of successfully leading projects in delivering complex projects on time and within budget, preferably in an aerospace development context
Good knowledge of project management techniques, including scheduling and risk management
Fluent English
Microsoft Office Tools capability
SAP capability
