About the role
The National Account Manager (Manager, Sales Account Management) has complete national responsibility for one or more large clients (preferred knowledge and management of the Drugstores channel).
Develops and implements sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and service goals for the largest and most complex accounts in the organization.
Is involved in pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and possibly supply chain management strategy. Is managing a team and is able to drive them towards the company goals achievements. About the Team/Department
Reporting directly to the Italian Sales Director.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure assigned revenue and commercial development of assigned clients, through continual monitoring of customer relations and implementation of commercial actions in response to market needs.
- Defining the annual budget by product line and the budget for the launch of new products.
- Planning of commercial actions (eg. Promotions).
- Analysis of the commercial variables to identify the positioning of the brand / product: assortments, sales data / sales, promotions, market share.
- Preparation of commercial offers and negotiation of contract renewals.
- Management of commercial activities in the shop. Preparation of the launch of new products by organizing canvass and targeted campaigns.
- Coordination of a Team (2/3 people) being able to priorities goals, set team targets and guide them through executional and clear guidelines
Experience you'll bring:
- Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics;
- Degree or equivalent
- Profit & loss structure and dynamics knowledge
- Management of Drugstores channel/clients
- Professional path in both Sales and Trade Marketing/Local Marketing
- 8/10 years of experience in FMCG companies
- English fluent speaker
