In an international company, where service and servitisation are central, it is essential to be at the forefront.Starting with the Digital Twins, it will be necessary to build Augmented Reality experiences aimed at service technicians (after sales), with a direct impact on the company's business capabilities.
The Thesis, oriented towards students graduating in Mechanical or Computer Engineering, will consist in developing and putting into production the first augmented reality experiences to be tested by pilot users.
Abstract
In the modern manufacturing industry, based on Industry 4.0 concepts, the concept of Digital Thread and Digital Twin stands out.
Marposs, world leader in the production of high-precision measuring instruments, is introducing these logics also in the field of after-sales services.
The aim of the project is to introduce an advanced concept of digital usage at a global level and, to undertake this development, the company relies on a global and strategic business partner capable of providing tools for the development of the infrastructure.
The realisation of Augmented Reality projects is carried out in complete collaboration with the documentation and after-sales departments, with the aim of field-testing the use of the elements created, with a view to continuous improvement, exploiting the logic of Agile.
At the same time, the impact on the bus is evaluated with the development of the project itself.
