Nuova Sorema Sri is looking for a project manager to join our team in our La Spezia office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities:

Deliver on-time, in-budget projects:

  • Execute projects within the intended scope, timeframe and funds.

Communicate with clients:


  • Drive contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship.

Manage resources:


  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project.

Develop project plans
  • Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost.

Track and communicate progress:

  • Measure performance for presentation to clients and internal leadership.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 23 years experience in project management
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
  • Passion for managing teams and driving results
  • Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement

About Nuova Sorema Srl:
Sorema s.n.c. was established in 1977 and then transformed into Nuova Sorema S.r.l. in 1998.

It is organized in 3 "divisions":
[1] - engineering: machine design (operating: pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, agitators; traction units: electric and thermal engines, steam and gas turbines), appliances (heat exchangers, filters, pressure vessels) and complete systems on behalf of "third parties" (plant designers, plant installers, EPCs, end users);
[2] -OEM: construction (and sale) of the products in [1], of which NS also takes care of the service (repair, spare parts and more);
[3] - commercial: sale of products in [1], purchasing mainly from OEMs with whom there is a consolidated technical / commercial relationship


The focus is on the customer: his needs are addressed by leveraging on forty-five years of acquired and consolidated experience.
