Position Summary:

Support the Commercial team to drive sales, acquisition and Nespresso visibility across trade channels.

Key priorities will be to maintain and analyze sales data in order to provide insight for the Trade Marketing team, National Account Managers team, commercial reporting, management and coordination of commercial processes, development of channel and customer plans.

Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in managing the relationship with Machine Partners.


A day in the life of the Trade Sales Commercial Analyst:

  • Develop analysis and insights that highlight opportunities and identifies emerging trends and risks resulting in a deeper understanding of the category.
  • Identify relationship between coffee market and coffee machine market and develop proposals to drive the commercial strategy.
  • Participate in channel & customers strategy development process and ensure the commercial plan is executed in line with the strategy.
  • Support National Key Account Managers and Area Managers in developing and reviewing detailed plans at channel, area and customer level.
  • Support sales force with the development of specific Trade Stories and presentations to be shared with Key Accounts.
  • Identification of opportunities and threats deriving from the continuous analysis of data related to assortments, promotions, distribution, shelf availability and price positioning.
  • Monitor and report competition activities.
  • Analyze results from the activities carried out, ensuring adequate uplift and ROI on B2C Commercial investments to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate the forecast of Total Trade Spend (TTS) to ensure alignment with monthly business plan and dynamic forecast.
  • Ensure alignment on volumes and strategy between Nespresso and Machine Partners.
  • Drive efficient and constant sellin/sellout forecasting process by channel at market level.
