YOUR OPPORTUNITY


As Indirect Procurement Director you are responsible for developing the strategic approach to the purchasing of indirect categories including materials and services and to establish a structured demand management process to monitor quantities and available stock and ensuring a clear governance of the P2P process.


In this role you will be in charge of analysing, designing and implementing a new procurement process to ensure compliance to SOD and SOX principles as well as improving value and efficiency by introducing a structured and regulated approach to indirect purchasing across all involved departments.


You will have strategic and tactical responsibility for designing and implementation policies, procedures and metrics to ensure full process governance and compliance to the external and internal norms.


In addition to the procurement process governance, you will directly manage tenders and complex negotiations with suppliers and coordinate the purchasing requisition process ensuring consistency between demand and delivery of materials and services both in terms of quantity and quality standards.


MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

P2P process design and set-up:


  • Perform the analysis of the Company spending on indirect materials and services
  • Map procurement processes and practices in place identifying key stakeholders for the various categories
  • Design and setup a structured purchasing process, procedures and policies
  • Define a multi year roadmap to rollout the new P2P process in line with SOD and DOA principles with a gradual extension to the different indirect categories: i.e Utilities, General Services & Facility, Store / Retail indirect Materials, Marketing Expenses, IT, Consulting services, etc;

Sourcing strategy and vendor management:


  • Define the sourcing strategy for each category and identify potential vendors to be engaged
  • Develop bids, tenders and proposals leading to a structured contract negotiations along with key internal stakeholders, the legal department and Thirdparty vendors;
  • Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met

P2P process management and operational governance:

  • Oversee contract development and administration;
  • Support and monitor business functions in performing their tasks in compliance with the P2P process;
  • Oversee the demand management process, monitoring required quantities and available inventory of goods;
  • Ensure that purchasing requests and deliveries of materials and services are duly and timely performed;
  • Manage purchase orders and monitor a timely delivery;
  • Check the consistency between ordered and required quantities;

Continuous process improvement and compliance:


  • Identify areas of improvement to increase performance and results and to identify potential savings opportunities
  • Set up of a procurement efficiency matrix and procurement metrics.
  • Setting an appropriate forecasting, control and reporting systems, in cooperation with the Corporate Finance Department, to effectively monitor and allocate costs and savings;
  • Managing SOX compliance standards;
  • Manging compliance to the internal Code of Ethics and international standards.
  • Managing and set goals for your function, in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement process;
  • Managing and support SAP system evolution for purchasing;
  • Managing SOX compliance standards;

WHO YOU ARE
You have a BA in Business, Finance or Engineering, MBA as a plus.

20+ years of relevant experience in procurement roles preferably for a Manufacturing/Publicly Listed Company.

Willing to travel up to 20% of time
