Communication Manager (M/F/d) (fixed-term contract for 1 year, with option of unlimited extension)

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to develop a fitting communication plan for the year, overall, per brand and sales partners involved in line with the allocated budget and its implementation with the corresponding communication touchpoints in alignment with the Team Lead Communication and Communication Managers.
  • Brand budget management through cost estimates and actual reporting of costs into dedicated company files.
  • Regular performance analysis of campaigns and brand activities; analysing and reporting the success of communication activities and benchmarking towards targets.
  • Responsible for dedicated trade partner communication activities in alignment with the Sales responsible. Analysing/tracking results of those activities.
  • Close collaboration and regular exchange with Digital and creative agencies to ensure the communication and amplification of key messages through influencer activations, paid media campaigns, product seeding, etc.
  • Close collaboration and alignment with the responsible Social Media Manager and PR Manager to grant a consistent Communication plan with a 360°/omnichannel approach.
  • Management and close cooperation of diverse external partners like agencies and suppliers.
  • Listening, and exchanging with the target group or customers on the cosnova brands and their assortment to work continuously on our target to be consumer centric, understand customer needs and wishes.
  • Using the internal communication tool COSMOS to update and inform our HQ about local activities and initiatives.
  • Close cooperation with the HQ, cosnova Germany in Sulzbach.
  • Continuous observation, analysis and use of modern communication channels and observation of competitive scenario.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant training in marketing, communication, media or social science or qualification relevant to the area of responsibility (Communication).
  • Relevant, multiyear professional experience in the field of brand communication in a company or agency, preferably in the consumer goods segment (FMCG), ideally in the cosmetics or fashion industry ideally 35 years.
  • Strong social media/digital expertise.
  • Experience in ecommerce is an advantage.
  • Very good sense for the target group of the brands, digital trends, and relevant lifestyle topics.
  • Experience in image design and targetoriented texts, ideally in the field of cosmetics or lifestyle.
  • Enthusiasm, affinity and "early adopter" in the field of modern communication.
  • Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and analytical skills are essential. Conceptual thinking is a plus.
  • Proactive, independent, and goaloriented way of working with a strong sense of team spirit, hands on mentality.
  • Team orientation and a personality that is openminded to change as well as resilient.
  • Very good written and spoken English, further foreign language skills, especially German, are an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge/handling of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint. Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Presentation skills/public speaking in both languages Italian and English for meetings with clients, journalists, events.
  • Open to travel in Italy and abroad, occasional work on weekends and evenings.
