Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Working within the Group HeadQuarter, reporting to the Global Supply Chain structure, this figure manages the following activities throughout all the Group perimeter and throughout the entire life-cycle of the Jobsites:

  • Support during the Bidding phase, in order to identify the optimal sizing and lay-out for the Warehouse or Warehouses in the future Jobsite
  • Support during the startup phase of the Jobsites, granting smooth and effective implementation of the organization, processes, physical areas, systems & tools
  • Support during the entire lifecycle of the Jobsite, granting that Warehouse operations are managed in an effective and costefficient way and in line with Group's and Jobsite's targets
  • Granting processes, policies and procedures are correctly implemented and observed during the entire lifecycle of the Warehouse in the Jobsite
  • Management of the Product Codes in line with HQ's policies and procedures, granting relevant implementation and granting adequate education and training for all personnel involved
  • Developing local team of Material Management, in order to grant adequate availability of competent Warehouse figures for the Jobsites in the target geography, succession plans, etc
  • Developing, generating and utilizing Reporting System (metrics, KPI's, etc) in line with HQ's policies and procedures
  • Implementing and maintaining appropriate Systems and tools, in line with HQ's policies and procedures
  • Implementing, monitoring and supporting the achievement of targets aligned with Group's objectives
  • In addition, he/she identifies, analyses, proposes and implements possible improvement and optimization plans throughout all the dimensions of the Material Management / Warehouse area of responsibility

Corporate : Complies with the Company policies and procedures as issued and amended from time to time

Management of Projects and Planning:Ability to prepare and manage budget, cost analysis, business case, improvement plans. Ability to manage cost reduction and optimization plans.

Interfaces:Webuild Personnel must comply with the provisions under the Workplace Relations Management Plan and the National Code and Guidelines to ensure onsite behaviours are consistent with our industrial relations obligations


Education

  • Engineering Degree preferred : 3 Years degrees or more (full 5years master or MBA), Management or Logistics Engineering are usual preferences.
  • He/she knows at least 2 Languages : English and preferably one between Spanish, French, Italian.

Experience

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in similar roles, within structured and international organizations; in addition, 34 years of experience on the field in complex Projects may be a plus;
  • Experience with the technicalities and regulations related to all the activities performed onfield (handling, storing, etc) and with all tooling, equipments, technological devices, techniques and methodologies related to modern management of complex Warehouses
  • He/she has managed (=developed, planned, implemented, monitored & optimized) Complex Plans (optimizations, processes review and reengineering, debottlenecking, etc) and Personnel / Workforce Budgets
  • Structured experience with KPI's and Scorecard's
  • Previous experience in defining, developing, maintaining a worldwide set of Master Data for all Commodities managed within the Group, and related processes
  • Robust experiences in Change Management
  • Strong experience in definition of layout's, optimization of existing layout's and activities planning
  • Experience of Jobsite start up and demobilization (at least 23 years) is appreciated
  • Ability to manage complex, multicultural structures with numerically large and nonhomogeneous workforce;
  • Demonstrated ability in gaining standing, credibility and gain authority;
  • Effective communication and presentation skills;

Supply Chain and Logistic Processes

  • Wide and consolidated knowhow in all Global Supply Chain processes, even those not under direct responsibility of Material Management (Procurement, Budgeting Processes, Expediting and Forwarding, Vendor Management, Vendor Performances, Logistics, etc.);
  • Ability to relate correctly with other functions, both in strictly operational terms and in terms of processes, roles, flows in the Global Supply Chain system;

Software Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office package knowledge: advanced level required
  • SAP knowledge: advanced level required; knowledge of additional ERPs is a plus

Problem Solving

  • Good knowledge of Problem-Solving tools such as 5W1H,
