Overview:
MSF's mandate is to provide medical care, always putting the patients and their primary needs first. We prioritize high quality care, even when working in difficult conditions and with limited resources.
To do this, we must listen to our entities (MSF movement), to our field workers, and to the external environment that surrounds MSF in Italy.
- Collaborating to define the recruitment strategy and set up the means of attracting the profiles for which s/he is responsible, according to operational needs and defined HQ criteria
- Conducting an in-depth analysis of procedures and methodologies in relation to operational / HQ needs.
Responsibilities:

Recruitment: In close collaboration with the Career Managers and the Digital department, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for keeping abreast of staffing needs of positions/profiles assigned her/him (Field, HQ and Programmes department), in order to adapt the recruitment strategy and propose/define attraction activities accordingly. Based on MSF's operational needs, s/he analyzes the methodology and procedures and propose the necessary adaptations to the evolution of activities. S/he defines, proposes, and manages activities for "active recruitment" within the Italian context to sensitize and boost MSF visibility in collaboration with HR digital and other MSF IT departments.-
Reporting/Participation: S/he provides quantitative and qualitative statistical data on the activity and takes an active part in the department's weekly meetings, as well as in various cross-functional projects run by the department. S/he is responsive to any situation that may require a change in the activity, notably an emergency replacement in the Field or at HQ.

Training and other activities: S/he takes part as facilitator in relevant MSF Italy training courses and activities as needed or required.

Experience:
- At least 2years prior working experience in Human Resources including Recruitment and Selection.
- Full proficiency (minimum B2) in English required.
- Full proficiency (minimum B2) in either Italian or French required, both languages is an asset.
- Experience with MSF or other international NGO is an asset
Conditions:
Contract:
Fixed term, Full time contract, II Level of Italian CCNL. The contrat might be extended depending on organizational needs

January 2024
Duty Station:
Hybrid. MSF Italy Rome office, and from home.
