    About the Role

    As Mechanical Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient management of the procurement process.
    Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers for the procurement of bespoke components, scouting new potential suppliers, and making regular visits to assigned suppliers (located nearby the company in Italy)
  • You will be responsible for timely management of suppliers in terms of costs, delivery, and quality, utilizing company management systems to handle contracts.
  • Collaboration with the Purchasing team will be essential in achieving cost targets for contracts, and you will actively contribute to make or buy strategies.
  • Monitoring the order confirmation process and ensuring compliance with agreed delivery dates will be a part of your daily tasks.
  • You will be responsible for transforming production and spare parts commitments into purchase orders in SAP.
  • About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or similar
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the same role
  • Basic skills in mechanical technical drawing, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP management system, MRP logic and ERP systems
  • Proactivity and flexibility
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving ability and management of business-related emergency situations
  • Ability to handle peaks of workloads without stress
  • Good knowledge of English Language
