Posizione:


Digital Diversity Week supports EssilorLuxottica in its search for profiles belonging to the Protected Categories (L.68/99) to be included as Store Engineering Back Office & Cost Analyst (Stage).


JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Mission:


Develop a comprehensive understanding of the construction costs related to different concepts, brands, geographies and give strategic support to the decision-making process with real-time data process and analysis.


Challenges:


Collect the huge amount of data available on different database and filled by multiple stakeholders, defining and efficient way to harmonize, keep-up to date and share the most relevant ones, to identify the more promising cost control strategies and delivering innovation where and when required.


Success Factors:
Main success factors are related to the capability of tracking the cost of construction initiatives and have

available aggregate construction costs breakdown for all concepts & geographies in real time.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

  • MILLWORK COSTS ANALYSIS: Support Engineering and Designers tracking vendor cost trends identifying risk & share alerts for not expected deviations from baseline costs.
  • BILL OF MEASUREMENTS/

MATERIALS:
Support Engineering and R&D Designers in creating Bill of Measurements for Furniture and digital equipment tenders.

  • CAPEX MAPPING TOOL: Work in close conjunction with other teams to develop a single CAPEX mapping tool.
  • DASHBOARDS: Draft, populate & keep up to date a single dashboard where to visualize the most important cost trends.
  • REPORTS: Provide on demand reports/forecast on the effect of specific initiatives (new concept and/or technologies) on the overall construction costs.
  • RISKS: Identify risk & share alerts for not expected deviations from baseline costs.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION

Within Global Store Engineering:
interact with Engineering & unit daily.


Interact with Concept Design, Design execution, Construction, planning, Procurement, Finance, Real Estate, Local Store Development teams on a weekly basis.

Occasionally interact with IT, BRANDS, VMs (based on specific needs).


Requisiti:


  • Belonging to the protected categories l.68/9
  • Bachelor's degree (or graduating) in Management Engineering or Building Engineering, master's degree (or graduating) is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Solid experience with MS OFFICE suite (specifically MS Excel) is a must

Specific experience with:

VBA plugs-in for MS Excel, MS Power BI, SAP-based software, Data management systems ( MS SharePoint, Oracle Aconex or similar) is a plus.
