  • We are currently looking for an Account Sales Manager to support the growth of the EMEA original equipment sales of drive systems within the EMEA bicycle markets . Working fully remotely and based in Italy, France, or Spain , you will be reporting to the Business Development Manager Mobility EMEA
  • The role primarily encompasses Southern Europe, focusing on countries such as France, Spain, and Italy, with frequent involvement in European market projects as well. The ideal candidate will engage in regular travel to meet with customers, partners, and attend events.
  • The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, with the Global Mobility team, the Top Management, Regional Sales teams, Application Engineers, Product / Product line Managers, Customer Service, Quality, Pricing Team, and all sales support functions.
  • Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Supporting in growing the EMEA Bike / E-Bike sales faster than the market in close collaboration with bicycle OEMs, and bicycle drivetrain system suppliers and developers.
  • Executing business development strategies and processes for the EMEA Bike / E-Bike market.
  • Developing and improving technical and marketing tools.
  • Identifying and championing new & improved Gates products to grow sales
  • Participate in continuous market research efforts
  • Co-Manage, collaborate on, and coordinate various product and partner databases.
  • ABOUT YOU

  • At least three to five years' Industrial experience associated with marketing, development or sale of bicycle products and good exposure to major EMEA bicycle OEs.
  • Strong individual contributor with a proven track record in managing projects to successful closure.
  • Understanding of commercial issues such as price negotiation, contract administration, account administration and service support
  • Strong commercial skills that can create demand for end users and pull through channels.
  • Familiar with multiple channels and go to market models including distribution and direct/OE.
  • Knowledge of product manufacturing and supply chain to support the creation of effective strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Fluent in English, Italian would be an asset
