Your Job

The Equipment, Technology, and Services group of Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a logistics operation team in support of inland and international commerce activities in European region.

The logistics capability is critical to how we deliver goods and services to our customers on time and in full and we need a leader to motivate, coach, and develop this team of logistics and warehouse operators.

The role will be located in Dudelange, Luxembourg.


What You Will Do

• Lead and coach a logistics team create a vision, set goals, and define a strategy for achieving established objectives while continuously improving the team's talent position.
• Responsible for the EU logistics operations and manage carrier/ 3PL partners along with global logistics teams.
• Partnering with International Trade Compliance teams, manage Closing Exports Process, Broker Letters of Instruction, and Shippers' Letters of Instruction with 100% complying laws and regulation.
• Ensure all businesses and customers are proactively and fully informed of cargo status by keeping up to date in the systems and supplying appropriate information.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Working experience with a trucking vendor, ocean or air freight forwarder, broker, or 3PL.
• Experience working in a leadership role as a supervisor or a mentor.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to drive action and influence.
• Fluency in English is required.
• You are detail oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of an organization.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Subject matter expertise in European domestic trucking and or international commerce operations.
• Experience in logistics planning and operations or warehouse operations; Familiarity with TMS systems
