Within the Gas & Power Portfolio Management & Optimization division and particularly in the Group Gas Assets Optimization, Dunkerque Contract Management & Shipping business unit, we are looking for a Business Support Analyst to join the LNG Shipping team to manage EDF Group's LNG fleet operations.


The LNG Shipping team is responsible for the development and management of the LNG vessel fleet of both EDF and Edison, to support the shipping capacity dedicated to the LNG supply portfolio of the Group as well as the shipping requirements arising from the small-scale LNG business of Edison in Italy.

The team activities range to a quite wide number of tasks including:

  • Long-term / Mid-term shipping capacity development at Group level, following new LNG supply contracts and associated requirements and small-scale LNG expansion plan
  • Actual Time Charter Party agreements management for the contracted fleet
  • Commercial management of the fleet (e.g., charterin / charterout), basis the supply portfolio requirements in the shortterm horizon and market opportunities
  • Fleet operations management (voyage orders, daily followup of voyages, coordination with shipmanager and vessel master on vessel requirements (bunker fuel, maintenance scheduling etc...), instructions to maritime agents for port calls, vessel scheduling and planning, management of counterparties involved in the operations of the vessels, performance management, etc...)


As a Business Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective management of shipping contracts within our organization.

Your responsibilities will include data analysis, contract administration, and providing valuable insights to help optimize our shipping operations.

This position offers an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of our shipping department.


Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of shipping contracts and contracts for shipping services.
  • Monitor contract compliance and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.

Data Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze shipping data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into contract performances and compliance to governance requirements

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all shipping contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Generate and distribute regular and adhoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for management reviews.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize shipping contract operations including digital transformation opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including IT department, procurement and finance, to ensure alignment on contract terms and objectives.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.


Experience:


  • Minimum 2year experience in contract management, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with shipping contracts, Incoterms, and related regulations is highly desirable, thought not a mandatory requirement
