In this role you will drive the execution of our external training and education plans and provide primary support to our HCP consultants that provide these services.

You will also interface regularly with appropriate commercial team members and maintain a high level of knowledge to ensure credible dissemination of scientific information and dialogue with HCP consultants.

Critical to success in this role is the commitment to identify and deliver continuous improvement around our ability to execute a world-class training and education program.

Doing this will require deep clinical knowledge, effectiveness at developing and delivering HCP education and a commitment to work with cross-functional team members to ensure that our plans meet both business and compliance requirements.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Europe (ideally Spain or Italy)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and crossfunctional teams and provide input into training and education strategies while retaining functional independence
  • Create and deliver an annual needs assessment for engagements required to support training and education services
  • Participate in identification and engagement processes to ensure sufficient and adequate consultant resources for execution of training and education plans
  • Provide direct onsite support for training and education services and events
  • Participate in review of HCP consultant utilization, exceptions, and trends with Compliance and Business Leadership
  • Ensure that all activities and interactions are conducted with due regard to all applicable local and national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, company policies and accepted standards of best practice

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification with a medical, science, technical, or business/marketing focus
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales, marketing, product management, or clinical training/support role in the medical device industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with KOLs to plan and execute clinicallyoriented training and education events
  • Experience working with general surgery or cardiac surgical products
  • Experience with annual planning of HCP training and education events, including use of Annual Needs Assessments or similar tools
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize clinical information
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clinician customers, in particular key physician thought leaders
  • Demonstrated success influencing across crossfunctional teams and collaborating effectively with multiple functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in challenging negotiations both internally and externally
  • Excellent command of English speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, within Europe

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in medicine, science, engineering or marketing
  • Experience working with general surgery or cardiac surgical products
  • Fluency in other common European languages, particularly Italian and/or Spanish
  • Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
