As a Manager, People Partner at ASM, you will play a critical role spanning operational, tactical, and strategic HR functions.

Based in our Baranzate, Milan office, you will leverage your HR expertise to support our innovative teams who are developing some of the world's most advanced semiconductor equipment.

Reporting to the Europe Head of People, you will be an essential member of our high-performing regional team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, oversee, and implement localized HR strategies aligned with business objectives and local requirements.
  • Provide proactive support to key stakeholders, anticipating and addressing business needs.
  • Lead change initiatives, reinforcing a culture based on ASM's

  • Participate in strategic initiatives such as people transformation, leadership development, engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent in Italy.
  • Offer consultative support to senior leaders, providing coaching and solutions for complex challenges.
  • Utilize data analytics, research, and benchmarking to provide business insights and recommend growth solutions.

  • Support Italybased employees on various HR topics, and manage employee relations as needed.

Here are some of the skills/experiences that are both needed and appreciated for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field; a Master's in Human Resources Management is preferred.
  • Approximately 7+ years of handson HR experience in a dynamic international setting, ideally with a focus on Engineering or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English with strong, concise communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Italian labor laws and union relations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven conflict management abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy in professional interactions.
  • Proficient in problemsolving techniques for complex HR challenges.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to streamline HR processes.
  • Analytical thinking and creative problemsolving abilities.
  • Familiarity with HR software; experience with SuccessFactors and/or Navision is an advantage.
