What you will do

You will join our plant in Parma and you will be involved in the assembly and / or testing of machines, specifically checkweighers, metal detectors and X-ray inspection machines (no radiogenic sources) in compliance with the times and specifications assigned.

You will specifically focus on the following activities:

Receiving parts of machines and preassembled mechanical groups from external suppliers.
Dealing with aggregating the parts received and assembling the groups.
Testing of the basic machine, with the subsequent testing of groups and formats, for the customization of the same.
Following the FAT tests in the presence of the customer.
In the event of noncompliance detected during the testing phase, you will collaborate with the Manager to find the solution with the entities concerned.

How you will ge there

Experience of more than 3 years with assembly testing of equipment. Experience as mechanical fitter coming from the primary and secondary packaging sector (e.g. food, beverage) is p
Diploma in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and solid understanding of basic principle of electrical and mechanical systems
Good level of English is preferred
Understanding of continuous improvement and PPI methods and tools
Proficient with Office Suite; in particular, Microsoft Office and Outlook
Good team working skills and ability to build good working relationship with peers, internal stakeholdes and customers
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and documentation
Proactivity in solving discrepancies, technical issues and requests from clients
