Job Title:
Data Scientist - Transcrime-Università Cattolica and Crime&tech
What You Will Do:
- Develop NLP algorithms to classify fake news according to topics
- Develop and run predictive models that relate fake news to crime data
- Analyze and interpret data to inform decisionmaking
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement technological solutions for the control of crime
Basic Requirements:
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP)
- Coding skills in R and Python
- Experience with machine learning and AI methods
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with the extraction, organization, and analysis of unstructured information
- Experience in working with APIs
- Experience in technical and scientific writing
- Good knowledge of English

The workplace will be located in Milan city centre, Via San Vittore 43, with the possibility of remote working.
