If you are passionate about making a difference and are seeking a role as a Plant Microbiology Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity within our Global Research team (maternity leave contract).


What are we looking for?

  • An MSc in a Biological Science is mandatory.
  • PhD or at least a previous experience of 3/5 years in agricultural microbiology (exclusively on plant nutrition and/or soil health) within firms or research centers.
  • Basic microbial fermentation knowhow at laboratory scale.
  • Proficiency in Office package.
  • Fluency in English.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Conducting microbiological analysis of environmental samples, including biostimulants and raw materials.
  • Kinetics and process optimization studies related to fermentation processes.
  • Maintaining microbial cultures, ensuring absolute sterility and purity.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to provide laboratory support for research projects.
  • Contributing research ideas and participating actively in activity planning.
  • Preparation and maintenance of comprehensive laboratory records detailing methods, sample processing, and results.
  • Assisting with general laboratory maintenance and operation of equipment related to microbial analysis.
