    Reservations & Events Trainee

    We are seeking a Reservations & Events Trainee to join our Sales & Marketing Team at the Anglo American hotel in Florence, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton brand.

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to the philosophy of the brand and possess strong written and oral communication skills. They will be involved in event management, time management, project management, and MICE, while strictly following company and brand procedures and plans.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support in the management of RFPs, following company and brand standards & procedures.
    • Update CRM with opportunities, calls, account information, tasks, and projects constantly.
    • Ensure that PMS (OnQ by Hilton) is properly and constantly updated with all necessary information (rates, inventory, etc).
    • Focus on own KPI conversion according to the given goals.
    • Event & Groups Management from the first offer until the day of arrival of the client, when required.
    • Contribute ideas to improve standards and new products and services offered.
    • Support in the organization and follow-up of site inspections and Fam Trips on property when required.

    Requirements:

    • Highly computer literate with excellent presentation skills (including PowerPoint), confident use of all Microsoft Office tools.
    • Native or fluent in Italian (written and spoken).
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
    • Additional language would be considered a plus.
    • Must be an EU Citizen or in possession of an Italian work visa.

    This is a full-time role based at the Anglo American hotel in Florence, via Solferino 6. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations team, sales manager, and reservations department.
