About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Peripheral Product Field Sales Trainer to enhance our Peripheral Vascular footprint in the Italian market.


This position involves 3 main areas of responsibility: Product expertise about the entire peripheral product portfolio, operating Room Clinical case support of peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures and ability to transfer technical and clinical Knowledge to local sales peripheral FSA (Field Sales Associates) and Partners (agents and distributors).

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Italy.


Responsibilities:

As a Product Expert, you will become a key contact for our internal stakeholders and external customers about all technical aspects


You will:

  • Answer all productrelated questions and addressing queries in collaboration with sales and marketing teams
  • Attend product workshops and refresher trainings and plan and assist with new product launches and events
  • Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Help tenders with productrelated questions
  • Keep up to date with paper review and literature publications
As Clinical Specialist, you will provide clinical case support for our highly regarded and market leading Peripheral products across Italy


You will:

  • Consult with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists and have responsibility for reading CT films, case planning, device sizing and OR case support
  • Be responsible for product training whilst working with a range of hospital staff
  • Maintain and build important relationships with hospital staff and work across business units
As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous on-site training, education and lead required for product certification to peripheral FSAs and Partners:

  • Ensure competencies are maintained at a high level to develop a best-in-class sales team skills (ie TeraRecon, Simulators, Competitive Therapies and Products)
  • Act as proactive and Supportive liaison of EMEA
  • Trainings for Clinical Education and CAS (Clinical Application Specialists)

Required Qualifications:


  • Engineering degree, ideally in Biomedical Engineering
  • 23 years of experience working in the implantable medical device industry and proven clinical skills within the operating theatre or cath lab
  • Knowledge and expertise in the Peripheral Endovascular market and products
  • Have genuine clinical interest, ability to communicate and share, and are committed to successful patient outcomes
  • As a team player you will interact regularly with the sales team and work effectively with a broad group of highly diverse and technically expert individuals
  • Ability to be flexible, combined with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
  • The role requires extensive weekly travel up to 90% within Italy


Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with prior appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies and additional documents, from the country in which they are employed.
