Project Manager - Roma, Italia - AXA Partners

We are looking for a new PM in the Project Portfolio Management Team based in Rome and reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager.
Type of contract:
Permanent and Full Time
The PM role will play a key role managing projects with different type of complexity and ensuring that the projects will meet its objectives across quality, time, and benefits.
The role will execute core project management and control activities including project and program reporting, risk and issue management, planning and dependency management, change control, benefits tracking and project budgeting support.
As such, the PM should have strong communication, organization and teamwork skills, as well as being a self-starter comfortable both working across multiple stakeholder groups and managing ambiguity.
The PM will be required to cover project management.There is the need to understand that developing new concepts/defining scope involves uncertainty, so the PM profile we are looking for is someone able to push forward with incomplete information and willing to understand a complex problem or process by creating a visual diagram to document the cause and effect of the particular problem or process.
AXA Partners has embarked on a significant transformation with an ambitious timescale to deliver new systems and processes into the organization.
This role is part of the overall Global Investment Governance and will operate in a matrix environment with local and global stakeholders.
The PM will interface directly with other project managers, management and transformation team members including project manager and global PMO.
Your Profile Skill and experience**- Experience of technology and operating model transformation programs preferred
- In depth knowledge and skills of the Program Management Office disciplines, including program planning, governance, risk and issue management and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and a problemsolving mindset
- Project experience using both agile and waterfall methodologies, with the ability to work in mixed teams with both onshore and offshore resources
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project as a plus
- Relevant professional certifications (MSP, PMI, APM, Prince 2 etc) are desirable but not required
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capability to challenge and push forward without incomplete information. Ability to define a scope and to be able to break the project scope into different deliverables in an analytical way.

- Value oriented always looking at "who should do what" before acting
- Selfstarter with desire to continuously improve
- Understanding the motivation levers for key stakeholders
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, with the ability present complex ideas and concepts at various levels of the organization
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Fluent in English (min. B2/C1)
- Spanish would be a plus
