About the role
Sanoma Learning is seeking a Junior Product Manager to join our Learning Technology team in Milan, Italy.

As a Junior Product Manager, you will assist in coordinating and executing the delivery of our digital learning products and services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in all aspects of technology projects throughout the entire project life cycle.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Support the product owner in all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on development and release timelines.
• Coordinate the internal and external teams of developers and testers to schedule activities and ensure that project timelines and requirements are met.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (IT preferred) or similar relevant experience.
• At least 12 years of experience as a Junior Product Manager or Junior Project Manager in a technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Experience in agile project management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational, communicational and cooperational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS, digital books)
• Experience with HTML, JSON, APIs and other webrelated technologies.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and software development practices.
