What You'll Do As a Senior Software Engineer in our Dealer, OEM, and Data group this is your opportunity to work with a small team to solve big problems and be a big part of something big.
Your team owns the delivery of key capabilities that drive significant organic traffic. Your work is impactful across our network of vehicle marketplaces.Partner with a product to design technical solutions to business and user problems Build and maintain software systems Mentor more junior engineers on the team Actively participate in peer review Document processes and procedures Implement new and improved technical designs and technologies Plan and carry out an information security strategy Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned What We're Looking For 7+ years of experience building scalable, maintainable, and production-ready back-end API systems Hands-on professional experience working with / Typescript / JS ecosystem, popular Frameworks ( , , ), and building Restful and GraphQL API platforms Experience with writing Unit Tests ( Jest, Vitest.) Experience working with Document / NoSQL DBs ( MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB...) and Relational DBs ( MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL..
) Extensive experience with product lifecycle ( Design / Development / Testing / Deployment / Monitoring) Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work with business and technical stakeholders Experience building high availability and high transaction systems that scale.
Knowledge of modern web application development practices and microservices architectures Bonus Points:Experience working with Queue / Message Brokers ( Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS ...) Experience building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud solutions in AWS (Amazon Web Services) Experience working with PHP and C# ( .net ) Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other DevOps tools Domain knowledge in RVs, Motorcycles, ATVs, and Trucks.
