- Support the Italian and wider global team by carrying out technical tasks as required;
- Be an active part of our audit team in Italy and abroad;
- Review and interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations;
- Support with the preparation of reports in Italian and English;
- Support with the application for major and minor permits;
- Meet project deadlines as indicated by the Project Manager.
- Candidates should have a Master level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar;
- Measurable work experience either in industry or consultancy;
- Impact Assessment procedures and other relevant Environmental Permit procedures (e.g. IPPC authorizations, landscape authorizations, VinCA, off-shore permitting);
- Ideally proficient user of ArcGIS;
- Experience of field work and data analysis;
- Previous experience of adopting and applying national and international environmental regulation such as Decree 152/06 and EID Directive;
- Capable of producing clear and concise written documents in Italian language (mother tongue);
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
