The Opportunity**
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Management the portfolio of overdue accounts of the overdue accounts aimed at the most timely and complete recovery of positions (from noncollection of commissions and invoices, or for credit sums generated by refund and chargebacks);
  • Management of settlement proposals and/or writeoffs of customers' debt positions;
  • Management of collateral and funds diverted in support of actions to protect or recover credit, through formal regularity and congruity checks;
  • Management of reporting of the loan portfolio by seniority and risk bands, both for Group reporting requirements and for the financial statements;
  • Defines estimates of the probable recovery levels of substandard or impaired positions for the relative accounting provisions at the end of the month, according to Group policies;
  • Support to the Accounting Team in carrying out activities aimed at the reconciliation of accounts resulting from credit recovery activities;
  • Preparation of monitoring reports on receivables due from customers in order to provide timely evidence of the trend of phenomena to the CFO and the Risk Committee;
  • Definition and updating of policies and procedures in his/her area of competence

In practice this means:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Management
  • 3 to 5 years of experience, plus if within the banking or payment industry.
  • Knowledge of Basic Accounting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Resultoriented with a proactive attitude and initiative.
  • Proficient in both Italian and English, with fluency in speaking and writing
  • Advanced computer skills, (MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Especially Excel
  • SAP a plus
