Job purpose:


We are looking for a talented profile who, placed in a team, within the analytical research and development laboratory, will be involved in projects of analysis of synthetic chemical processes for the realization of new products and for the optimization and improvement of existing processes.


Key responsibilities:


  • Perform handson activities in analytical laboratories (e.g., performing analysis on intermediate and finished products, development and optimization of analytical methods, validation of analytical methods).
  • Perform monitoring of the proper functioning of analytical instrumentation (HPLC instruments, gas chromatographs, karlfisher, titrators, etc.) by operating directly on the instrument in situations where external and extraordinary maintenance is not required.
  • Report documentation of experimental activities performed.
  • Perform GMP analysis for process controls required by the production processes of R&D and Pilot departments and smallscale production of specialty drugs.
  • Work on daily and/or shift basis.
  • Collaborate with the research team in solving analytical and/or investigative problems and organizing tests to be performed.

Required skills, qualifications, experience and behaviours:_._

  • High school diploma in scientific disciplines (e.g., chemical technician, biotechnology) and/or degree in Chemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology.
  • Experience in other chemical and pharmaceutical companies is a plus.
  • Theoretical principles of basic chemistry.
  • Knowledge of chemical laboratory techniques.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, gas chromatography, thin layer chromatography, potentiometric titrations).
  • Knowledge of investigative analytical techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong propensity for teamwork.
