Due to our constant growth, we are looking for a Quality and Regulatory Affairs Assistant

What we Expect from you?
As a Quality and Regulatory Assistant, you will provide essential support to our Quality and

Regulatory team. You will assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, quality control procedures, and documentation standards. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our quality and regulatory initiatives.


What are your main required skills?

  • Provide expertise and knowledge of existing and emerging European regulations, their applicability and analysis for regulations in different regions
  • Assist in the creation, review, and organization of regulatory and quality documents, including product specifications, quality manuals, and compliance records.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records to ensure traceability and transparency.
  • Monitor, assess and document business impacts, resolve actions and communicate to


Headquarter in India changing or emerging regulatory laws and regulations with an action plan for deployment and implementation of actions working with teams.


  • Provide required country specific registrations, reporting, notifications, and dossier development where products may be distributed and sold to support new product development and launch as well as growth of existing products.
  • Complaints and claims management
  • Provide regulatory support for regulatory requests or questionnaires from customers.
  • Monitor regional regulations and evaluate regulatory implications for current and new products, identify risk and opportunities for the business, as well as define measures to address any compliance obligations.
  • Setting up new quality standards where relevant
  • Member of crisis team
  • Stay informed about industryspecific regulations and standards, and assist in ensuring that the company adheres to them.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Regulatory team to prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation as needed
  • Participate in quality control activities, such as inspections, audits, and testing, to ensure that products meet established quality standards.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

education and experience

  • BS in life sciences or related field with 3+ years in food Ingredients with regulatory experience
  • Bachelor's in food technology with at least 3 years' experience in a regulatory function in the food industry
  • Familiarity with the EU legislative and regulatory process;
  • Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and quality standards (e.g., FDA,
ISO, GMP) is a plus.

Solid research, analytical and communication skills;:

  • Excellent writing skills, including reporting on complex dossiers;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English. Other languages such as French, German are a plus;
  • Proven track record of successful regulatory food approvals
  • Ability to function in multidisciplinary and virtual environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for general food, nutrition pharma and personal care and/or food biotechnology products in the EU, and knowledge of scientific methodology in general; working knowledge of food / biotechnology regulatory requirements in EMEA is a bonus
  • Previous experience in the agrifood sector/EU institutions or EU associations is a plus.
  • Regulatory management (compliance and food safety, specification, standards and certification, incident and complaint management)
  • Knowledge of BRC and GFSI standards, HACCP standard
  • Excellent Knowledge of Office 365, CRM and ERP Systems
