For a biomedical company we are looking for an import7export specialist.

Roles & Responsibilities

1.1. Coordinate transportation schedules ensuring on-time delivery of goods and services.

1.2. Monitor and analyse transportation data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and service enhancements.

1.3. Organize express shipment.

1.4. Transport cost optimisation

1.5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulation and Customs process.

1.6. Ensure rigorous adherence to customs regulations for import and export shipments.

1.7.

Booking and Scheduling:
Efficiently manage airfreight bookings, reservations, and flight schedules.

1.8. Organize transports and management of Forwarder.

1.9. Organizing all merchandise movements making the correspondent paperwork (proforma, delivery notes, Air waybill, Carnet ATA)

1.10. Interface with company functions and with suppliers (Italian and foreign)

Requirements:

2.1. 5 years experience in the import and export of sea/air/land shipments

2.2. Ownership and problem-solving attitude, result oriented.

2.3. Teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile.

2.4. Experience in use of ERP environment (Netsuite preferable)

2.5. Good written and spoken English.

2.6. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point)

2.7. Know-how of manufacturing, and logistic processes

2.8. Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented and seeks accuracy in work product.

2.9. Be able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

2.10. Capable of working in a fast changing and multi-tasking environment

2.12. Medical Quality System knowledge (e.g. GMP)

contract offer: 6 months temporary contract
