GLM Telecom is seeking a skilled and experienced SMS General manager and business developer to join our rapidly growing wholesale business team.

As an SMS general manager, you will be responsible for promoting and managing SMS business both at wholesale and Corporate level.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our commercial and operational capabilities and ensuring seamless interaction with our customers and users.

The role will work closely with the voice sales team to support rapid commercial growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record within a similar commercial environment;
  • Utilize your network and industry knowledge to identify partners and new business leads;
  • Be commercially minded and work closely within the operations team to establish destinations and routes;
  • Liaise with relevant players within the market to position and sell the company as a top
  • Source niche SMS service providers to fill coverage gaps and increase delivery rates in key areas.
  • Developing and presenting action plans with clear goals, targets, and measures of performance on a quarterly basis;
  • Managing marketing and product positioning for the customers on the basis of their needs and business interest of GLM Telecom;
  • Develop innovative and creative SMS trading models to secure commercial relationship and sustainable revenue streams.
  • Maintain the SMS partner pipeline in GLM TELECOM's CRM and keep the information accurate and up to date.

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years proven working experience in business development or sales;
  • Advanced sales skills to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language;
  • A highly motivated, detailoriented, and proactive personality who will become a great team player;
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures;
  • Goaldriven, persistent and skilled negotiator;
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus;
  • Experience in sales and account management in the telecom industry is a plus
