SITAEL_Ground Segment System Engineer Position MissionIn the frame of SITAEL Ground Segment & Operations engineering team growth, we are looking for an experienced Ground Segment System Engineer, with at least 5 years of experience in the field of Ground Segment system architecture definition and development/validation phases.

The GS System Engineer will take the system level responsibility on a major Ground Segment development for an important Commercial Customer, in the frame of a complete mission delivered by SITAEL based on PLATiNO small platform.

The GS System Engineer will report to Ground Segment & Operations Team Leader.

Responsibilities The GS System Engineer will:

Prepare and manage the GS Specification (GSRD) in line with higher level requirements (Mission Requirements)Coordinate the GS design team during GS design phase, with main task of defining architecture and I/FsManage (follow-up) the GS Sub-contractorsEnsure the complete verification of GS requirements in accordance with ECSS E-ST-10-02 standardthrough the Verification Control document at all levels (GS, S/S).Supervise the GS deployment either on premises or on cloud.

Guarantee the GS verification and validation processRequirementsUniversity degree in a relevant disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in GS Design and AIV, especially for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) EO missions.

Sound knowledge of DOORS.Experience with automation of test execution with dedicated tools or scripting languages.
Sound knowledge of major operating systems (Linux, Windows).Sound knowledge of major RDBMS.Sound knowledge of hypervisor and container technology.

Experience with coordinating a team, he/she shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills and a proactive attitude to problem solving.

Experience with coordinating partners from different companies in an international project.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system and software life cyclesSound knowledge of relevant ECSS standardsExperience with coordinating partners from different companies in an international project.
