Job Summary:

Would you like to join the Early Innovation & Partnership team for a six-month internship? Within D&T Automation & Digital department, we are looking for an
Artificial Intelligence Intern to explore methodologies to optimize Deep Learning models to be used in a low-latency production environment.

What you will do:

Benchmark several methodologies in which knowledge distillation techniques are combined inside the quantization steps to lower the numerical precision to int8

We believe you have:

Master's degree student in Computer Engineering/Statistical or similar disciplines
Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken
Strong Programming Skills knowledge of programming languages like Python, and familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs and the software stacks that optimize them
Have an understanding of modern Deep Learning architectures and an intuition on how to optimize their performances
Experience in at least one deep learning framework. Preferred one is PyTorch
Analytical and results oriented, with a solid and systematic approach to tasks
Team player, with very good communication skills and the ability to interact with different stakeholders at many levels
Curious, committed and eager to learn and improve day after day
