For our Client, a leading multinational Company in the automotive industry, we are looking for:SENIOR BUYER INTERIORSMain responsibilitiesThe candidate will report to the Head of Electrics and Interiors and will be responsible for the complete management of the Material Group within Interiors Commodities.

As a member of the Procurement Department in the assigned commodities, you will be a fundamental key contributor for the achievement of the company objectives.

The Procurement Department mission is to support the company in delivering cutting hedge technical solutions on-time with perfect quality at the right cost, so that the customers' expectations can always be exceeded.

You will be a contributor of innovation scouting (both technologies and supplier base) and the focal point between Suppliers and Product Development Team.

Main responsibilities:
Leading price negotiations and mediate award decisions through a worldwide bidder's listIdentifying & leading cost saving ideas including supplier visits at plantScouting for new suppliers and innovation with a deep focus on economics and business sustainabilityAnalyzing new market trends and derive acquisition strategies in the electric and electronic commoditiesBeing an active player in the Group Commodity Meeting, aligning the purchasing strategy with the other BrandsEarly involvement in the project to define best technology to match project needs & targetWorking with the latest e-procurement solutionsActive member of cross functional teamsCandidate profileUniversity degree in Engineering / EconomyPrevious experience (at least 5 years) and proven competence in interiors componentsProven competence in injection / thermoforming components is considered a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
