  • EHS&S Associate: Reporting to the Quality & EHS Manager, the EHS&S Associate will be responsible for monitoring the compliance of the facilities, supporting changes to optimize current processes, and maintaining an high compliance level of the facilities in agreement with the National and Caterpillar requirements. _

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular EHS audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

  • Develop and implement EHS and physical security policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Monitor compliance with Italian regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08, D.Lgs. 152, machinery directive 42/2006/CE).
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
  • Manage security systems and access controls to ensure the physical security of facilities.


As an EHS & Physical Security Associate, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring company policies and procedures related to environmental, health, safety (EHS), and physical security.

Your expertise will help us maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risks to our employees and assets.


Qualifications/Skills:


A minimum of one year of experience

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct risk assessment to identify potential hazards in the workplace and recommend preventive measures.
  • Skills in developing and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.
  • Ability to design and conduct safety training sessions for employees to ensure they are aware of potential risks and how to avoid them.
  • Expertise in investigation accidents or incidents to determine their causes and developing strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data related to EHS incidents and trends to identify areas of improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey EHS policies and procedures to all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of physical security principles and practice to protect employee, assets and facilities.
  • Ability to manage EHS projects, including the implementation of the new policies, programs, or initiative.
  • Understanding of sustainability practice and how to integrate them into EHS programs to promote environmental stewardship.
  • Audit and Compliance: Experience in conducting EHS audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problemsolving skills to effectively address and resolve EHS issues as they arise.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulations and standards in EHS, as well as evolving industry practices.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with EHS management systems and software for reporting, tracking, and analyzing EHS data.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Management and Innovation Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in EHS and physical security roles. - Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.). - Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. - Ability to respond effectively to emergencies. - Certification in RSPP, Lead auditor ISO 45001:2018; ISO 50001:2018, cepas certified; Executive Master of EHS Management Systems.
