Job Summary:

As the Finance Director, you will be an experienced individual with overall site responsibility for local finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial planning & analysis, tax, and treasury reporting directly to corporate US-based finance leaders.

Responsibilities:

Assume full accountability of Italian financial operations and results
Maintain a strong control environment and the integrity of financial results
Ensure compliance with statutory and other local requirements; possess familiarity with US GAAP and accounting principles
Manage relationships with independent auditors and other thirdparty service providers, including coordination of external audits and reviews
Crossfunctionally collaborate and influence local and USbased business partners in HR, Legal, Sales, Operations, R&D, etc.
Communicate clearly with all levels of management
Drive process improvements and promote a continuous improvement mindset across the finance organization
Drive full utilization of SAP for finance, automating as much as possible, and in accordance with corporate policy
Lead, mentor, and develop the local team to ensure employee retention and development
Manage priorities and deliverables of local team
Possess a strong working knowledge of local payroll rules, regulation, and processing

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting is required (or commensurate business experience); CPA (or equivalent) is preferred
10+ years of experience, preferably with US headquartered companies, is desired
Proficiency with English is required
Experience with multicurrency transactions
Experience successfully leading teams
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with multiple and changing priorities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management
Ability to work with a high degree of integrity, professional judgment, and management of confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency in SAP ERP system is preferred
