Project Planner - Data Centres - Milan


Are you a Project Planner looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Milan on an initial 12 contract.

  • Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Responsibilities:

Drive standardisation into scheduling process and direct function oversight to any contracted scheduling services
Ensure appropriate schedule detail level is utilised based on project execution requirements and project phase
Ensure schedules are properly loaded with project resources to facilitate effective staffing and resource density analysis
Ensure key metrics and benchmarks (internal and external) are in place to effectively gauge schedule performance and promote continuous improvement
Ensure the schedule supports the change management process
Lead schedule update meetings as required

Perform a variety of tasks associated with the development and maintenance of highly complex Primavera P6 project schedules including WBS structure development, logic links, constraints, resource loading, progress tracking, earned value reporting, float management, etc.

Work extensively with subcontractors ensuring schedule requirement compliance, accurate and timely updates, slippage recovery, etc


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field and/or Construction Management
8+ years of experience
Experience in the EPC Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry, working with engineering, procurement and contractors
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as exceptional organisation and coordination skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Basic understanding of Project Controls Functions
Thorough understanding of proven scheduling techniques and practices
Proficient using Primavera P6
Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
