Belmond is looking for a General Manager for Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, Tuscany, located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena.

Castello di Casole, a 10th century estate, is spread across 4,200 acres, and is the perfect place for Belmond's guests to combine experiencing the wonders of rural Italy with a world of comfort, elegance and world-class dining.

The General Manager will act as the business owner and drive excellence in line with Belmond's and Castello di Casole's strategic plan.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Act as business owner with overall responsibility of the hotel's business success and operational processes / execution
  • Achieve and exceed the hotel's targets in terms of guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial metrics
  • Ensure the successful delivery, in line with Castello di Casole's positioning, of all excellence related projects and manifestos
  • Manage Castello di Casole's complex structure, including the consortium and the farm house owners
  • Position Castello Di Casole as an authentic Tuscan farm estate that passionately preserves and enriches its extensive breathtaking nature
  • Elevate the hotel's wellbeing experiences by enhancing outdoor and Spa activities
  • Enhance the hotel's farmtotable philosophy, focusing on gastronomic passion and loyalty to the terrain
  • Review and increase the hotel's family offering
  • Develop a local culture that attracts top talent and connects to the community
  • In collaboration with the Brand & Marketing/PR team, connect with the media, travel industry and clients that will tell the story of Florence
  • Implementation of Divisional and Global initiatives as required

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a General Manager position in the luxury hospitality industry, ideally with experience working in a luxury countryside estate
  • International work experience desirable
  • Strong passion for nature, landscaping, and gardens
  • A passion for excellence

  • Fluent in Italian and English
