Main Responsibilities:
As Global Senior Toxicologist, you will be part of the Food Safety & Quality department and be the Group subject matter expert on toxicological food safety risks, especially contaminants directly reporting to Food Safety & Product Integrity Manager.

Key Tasks

• Monitor external scientific, technical and regulatory evolutions in chemical Food Safety (e.g. environment and process contaminants) applying horizon scanning best practices.
• Leverage new developments when relevant and evaluate potential business impact enabling science-based business decisions.
• Drive risk anticipation from risk identification to risk mitigation ensuring emerging or evolving risks are managed properly by involving all required functions.

You implement state-of-the-art toxicological assessment methodologies and tools conducting robust risk analysis across value chain enabling science-based decisions to predict prevent potential Food Safety issues. Conducting field-level chemical safety assessments supports product design sourcing manufacturing also in case crisis incidents enabling informed business decisions.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams provides toxicological expertise throughout product life cycle creating developing nurturing external network partnerships staying up-to-date with scientific evolutions studies emerging risks support global engagement strategy on Food Safety topics building Advisory Board composed internationally recognized experts maintaining state-of-the-art expertise within Group representing worldwide organizations events conferences increasing credibility shaping standards driving internal capabilities trainings methods equipping functions remaining vigilant against gaps anticipating enacting targeted proactive strategies addressing dynamic changing landscapes upgrading skills services helping better insights future improved outcomes high standard quality streamlined processes operations providing
