Our Client is an Engineering & Contracting Company with a portfolio of almost 60 years of experience and 300 completed projects in more than 30 countries.

They provide a full range of Process Design, Engineering, Procurement, Contruction and Commissioning solutions to the Energy Industries.

For the Finance and Administration department, we are looking for an:

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Posizione:

His / Her
main activities will be in following areas:

Management: is responsible for all local Finance & Administration Team. Will also support foreign permanent establishments Finance & Administration Teams if needed.
Monthly closing: Oversees the month end close process for the accounting department (bank account reconciliation, preparation of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet).
Finance: supervises Treasury activities, bank reconciliations and payments process.
Financial statement: Oversees preparation of year end financial statements in accordance with Italian Gaap and is responsible for the compliance with new accounting principle.
Analysis: Performs analysis of accounts and highlights discrepancies / anomalies for correction. Serves as escalation point for complex accounting transactions. Support Controlling Department on special projects, Financials analysis and year end Audit.
Taxes: Is responsible for compliance with existing (and new) Tax Regulations. Supports preparation of Company Tax fulfillments related to Corporate Income Taxes, as well as VAT and Withholding Taxes. Relevant payments, also including Social Contribution, are part of this process. Cooperates with the appointed Tax Advisor

Requisiti:

Main requirements:

High school or University degree in relevant field;
Two or five years of experience in the same role, supervising the Financial Reporting / General Ledger Department;
Good knowledge of SAP;
Fluent English is mandatory (oral and written).
