Your role As the Director of Italy you will develop and steer the Forto growth in Italy.


You will be responsible for building up the local team, identifying growth opportunities based on your market expertise and local network, and driving operational excellence by implementingeffective structures and processes.


You will Represent and steer the Forto brand and values towards the customers and key partners in the local market.


Lead and drive the country organization towards high revenue growth, overseeing all aspects from sales to logistics excellence through implementing effective workflows, and creating best in class customer success practices.


Develop the regional business plan aimed at delivering on high growth targets and exciting customer wins, coupled with a hands on implementation approach.


As a core member of the Forto leadership you will work closely with the VP of Sales and functional leaders, to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives in Italy.


Plan and oversee the hiring and training of new team members, attracting the best talent, ideally you have a team of people ready to make an impact from day 1.

What you bring The excitement to further Fortos footprint in Italy.

Proven track record in leading an organisation.


Several years of experience in the logistics industry (freight forwarding) with a focus on sea, air and rail freight, and ideally connected with a strong active network in Italy.


Reliability, a high degree of motivation, and hands on leadership, ready to build and develop the local business from scratch in a highly dynamic scale up environment Experienced in top level management reporting, process driven, and able to attract and nurture top talent, setting up successful teams.
