Local Unit & Position Description:


Risk Management Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe (MEA & SE) delivers services within Risk Management, Asset and Climate risks.

Risk Management MEA & SE unit collaborates with other similar units in region SEMELA (Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America) together forming a big resource pool of approximately 120 colleagues in the Service Area Markets, Risk Management and Power Grid.

The role of the intern sits within Asset & Climate risks team and will be based in

DNV's Milan office, located in Vimercate - MB.

Position Qualifications:
As

ESG Consulant Intern you will be part of the Asset & Climate Risk team of the Milan office. This team is mainly made up of industrial risk engineers and environmental scientists.


knowledge of environmental, social and governance topics as well as

GIS software.

You will be involved in the elaboration of ESG related reports for Industrial Clients and International Financing Institutions for the energy industry, for example:

  • HSE/ESG Due diligences
  • Environmental and Social Impact Assessments
  • GIS analysis
  • Climate risk analysis
  • GHG accounting


The activities of the risk management team focus both on renewable and Oil&Gas assets, as well as new developing technologies such as green hydrogen and green ammonia plants, as well as carbon capture and storage.

Most of the projects have an international footprint covering different countries in the SEMELA region.


You will work in a multicultural environment and have the opportunity to work and exchange in English on a daily basis.

Master in sustainability related disciplines (e.g., Environmental Science, Environmental Engineer, Sustainable Finance, etc.)

  • Able to use GIS software, at least on a basic level
  • Experienced in environmental modelling considered a plus
  • Experienced in ESG topics considered a plus
  • Excellent in writing reports etc.
