Job Description:

Location:
Milan

Reporting to the Head of Legal Italy, you will be responsible for advising the development team on a wide range of legal topics, with a focus on the development of solar, wind and energy storage projects.

You will support all relevant business areas in complying with local legislation and Group policies.

Among your responsabilities:

Support to the business teams in the development, construction, and management of renewable energy projects (including for acquisitions/disposals).
Support to the development teams in the negotiation of agreements ancillary to the construction of renewable energy projects (EPC, O&M, BS, interconnection and facilities sharing agreements).
Advice to all business teams to comply with corporate governance requirements and internal policies and processes.
Manage efficiently external legal counsel.
Liaising with all internal business areas including Senior Management, HR, Finance, and Business Development, Project Delivery, and counselling on a wide range of legal topics, including undertaking training on legal concepts, where necessary.
Ensure compliance with internal compliance framework and corporate approvals policies.

Qualifications:

Italian Qualified lawyer with 46 years' experience.
Experience gained in top tier international/local law firm or similar inhouse role.
Expert knowledge of energy law.
Excellent communication and technical drafting skills.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Transactional experience in construction and infrastructure sector.
Desired Experience in drafting and negotiating relevant transaction documents (EPC, O&M).
Familiarity with international corporate M&A transactions and joint ventures.
Understanding of compliance matters.
