Milan
Reporting to the Head of Legal Italy, you will be responsible for advising the development team on a wide range of legal topics, with a focus on the development of solar, wind and energy storage projects.
Among your responsabilities:
- Support to the business teams in the development, construction, and management of renewable energy projects (including for acquisitions/disposals).
- Support to the development teams in the negotiation of agreements ancillary to the construction of renewable energy projects (EPC, O&M, BS, interconnection and facilities sharing agreements).
- Advice to all business teams to comply with corporate governance requirements and internal policies and processes.
- Manage efficiently external legal counsel.
- Liaising with all internal business areas including Senior Management, HR, Finance, and Business Development, Project Delivery, and counselling on a wide range of legal topics, including undertaking training on legal concepts, where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with internal compliance framework and corporate approvals policies.
Qualifications:
- Italian Qualified lawyer with 46 years' experience.
- Experience gained in top tier international/local law firm or similar inhouse role.
- Expert knowledge of energy law.
- Excellent communication and technical drafting skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Transactional experience in construction and infrastructure sector.
- Desired Experience in drafting and negotiating relevant transaction documents (EPC, O&M).
- Familiarity with international corporate M&A transactions and joint ventures.
- Understanding of compliance matters.
