Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Legal Italy, you will be responsible for advising the development team on a wide range of legal topics, with a focus on the development of solar, wind and energy storage projects.

You will support all relevant business areas in complying with local legislation and Group policies.


Among your responsabilities:

  • Support to the business teams in the development, construction, and management of renewable energy projects (including for acquisitions/disposals).
  • Support to the development teams in the negotiation of agreements ancillary to the construction of renewable energy projects (EPC, O&M, BS, interconnection and facilities sharing agreements).
  • Advice to all business teams to comply with corporate governance requirements and internal policies and processes.
  • Manage efficiently external legal counsel.
  • Liaising with all internal business areas including Senior Management, HR, Finance, and Business Development, Project Delivery, and counselling on a wide range of legal topics, including undertaking training on legal concepts, where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal compliance framework and corporate approvals policies.

Qualifications:


  • Italian Qualified lawyer with 46 years' experience.
  • Experience gained in top tier international/local law firm or similar inhouse role.
  • Expert knowledge of energy law.
  • Excellent communication and technical drafting skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Transactional experience in construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Desired Experience in drafting and negotiating relevant transaction documents (EPC, O&M).
  • Familiarity with international corporate M&A transactions and joint ventures.
  • Understanding of compliance matters.
