Global Commodity Leader - Machinery & Investments page is loaded Global Commodity Leader - Machinery & Investments Presenta candidatura locations Milan, IT posted on Offerta pubblicata più di 30 giorni fa job requisition id R-15483 Team Overview and Job Responsibilities Machinery & Investments Buyer is responsible for Capital Expenditure within the overall Prysmian Group perimeter, managing Purchasing activities related to new and used Machinery sourcing, Plants construction / expansion and Spare Parts contracts.
The activities must be performed in strict cooperation with Engineering & Investments and Operations of Prysmian Group Head Quarter and WW Countries Internal Customers, fitting Purchasing strategy into the project / contract flow and timeline and supporting project delivery.
He/she manages the whole Purchasing flow for the assigned Commodities: from Sourcing to Procurement, using the necessary technicality (i.e. SAP flow) to correctly set the Procurement to Payment flow.He/she is responsible for supporting the Global Commodity Strategy Definition and Management: Spend Analysis, Volume Bundling, Sourcing Pipeline, Cost Analysis & Benchmarking, Vendor Management, Financial Audit & Technical capability / Production assessment.
What are the key challenges for this role His/her activity has a direct impact on the investment allocation of the Head Quarter / Country / Business Unit, therefore his/her performance is evaluated based on economic targets achievement and, considering the high impacts on the timely delivery of production lines, he/she will be evaluated on the capability to meet business needs in terms of timing.

Who are we looking for? At least from 5 to 7 years of relevant sourcing and procurement experience possibly in multinational companies with a strong knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures.
Experience on technical equipment sourcing will be considered as a plusStrong negotiation skills
A master's degree in engineering or economics

Capabilities in managing priorities and time
Fluent English both written and spoken
Good knowledge of Windows Office application
