About the role


The Data Quality Specialist will be part of the Customer Excellence and Commercial Innovation team reporting directly to the Global PIM (Product Information Management) Manager.


  • You will collaborate closely with the other PIM specialists, Syndication team, and IT. This role will also collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing the reporting and support the team in providing the report to the internal stakeholders.
  • You will work on the maintenance of the PIM platform
  • Support the data quality discussions with main customers and to find the best approach and tool with the internal IT team is part of your daily job
  • This role will support global users in creating their own data quality report.
  • Review and evaluate quality of product data, procedures, data flows and internal rules.
  • Develop the product data quality metrics such as the accuracy, completeness, correctness, and timely. Develop the data quality reports mainly in excel and to a few certain extents in PIM platform.
  • Understanding the endtoend data flows and analyze the quality checkpoints and define the stakeholders that are responsible or the owner of the data and process.
  • Create internal reports and communicate to the stakeholders and customers.
  • Train the users with the data quality reporting and communicate the result.
  • Support the strategy of the product data quality journey.

Importantly, we are looking for someone that is a team player and can show commitment to the team as the PIM team is agile and highly efficient.

The role will have an extensive journey starting with a junior position where quick learning is expected as multiple technical trainings and few business overview trainings will be undergone.

Your background

  • Ability to review, analyse and manage large volumes of data
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • A problemsolving mindset and agile approach.
  • A team player who has strong communication, collaboration, active listening, and commitment to the team.
  • An aptitude for analysis and client reporting.
  • Fluent English is essential as the team and project's environment is international.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills including key logical, mathematical, VLOOKUP, date & text functions.
  • Experience or knowledge with digital process, platform, activities.
Nice to haves

  • Experience with PIM systems and database. Indepth knowledge of data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of industry product classification methods (in particular ETIM).
  • Understanding of data transference (import, export, FTP) and transformation/standardization.
  • Experience in marketing for electrotechnical products.
