The Position

IN ROOM DINING MANAGER

Main purpose:


The In Room Dining Manager coordinates and supervises the In Room Dining team to ensure the best Guests' experience is provided through a flawless and personalised service and cooperates with Restaurant team when required.


Reports to:
F&B Manager.


Main duties & responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotel's In Room Dining service, according to our service standards and procedures;
  • Supervise all In Room Dining team.
  • Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of F&B issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all staff are meeting all established standards of service through ongoing and recurrent training systems;
  • Supervise the in room dining service area in order to attract, retain, and motivate the employees;
  • Ensure optimal level of service, quality, and hospitality are provided to guest.
  • Act as Maitre in Restaurant when required.

  • Business orientation: Create an understanding amongst the team of how department performance impacts the business. Create action plans to improve performance when not meeting company requirements. Use understanding of the business to identify ways to increase revenue, reduce costs and minimise general expenses without affecting the quality of service to Guests.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate technical and leadership competencies and knowledge related to the role. Look for Guest's feedback and use it to improve service. Identify issues and solve them promptly and properly.

We require:


  • Professional experience at an international level, preferably in a deluxe hotel;
  • English knowledge at Intermediate/Advanced level;
  • Valid HACCP certification;
  • Knowledge of F&B management software (e.g. Easymeal)
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;
  • Previous experience as trainer is a plus;
  • Flexibility;
  • Attention to detail.
