Posizione
Milestone, per il proprio reparto R&D, è alla ricerca di un Lead Rendering Engineer che, in qualità di responsabile tecnico e organizzativo del gruppo specializzato in rendering, guidi lo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie e il miglioramento di quelle esistenti.
Principali responsabilità:
Contribuire proattivamente, per la propria area, alla preparazione del piano tecnologico aziendale coniugando visione e sviluppi di medio-lungo periodo che garantiscano innovazione e costante miglioramento tecnologico e necessità contingenti relative ai progetti in corso di sviluppo
Proporre e portare avanti una visione tecnica riguardo tecnologie di rendering, tools e sistemi connessi per titoli presenti e futuri, coordinando una collaborazione tra reparti proficua ed efficace
Progettare e implementare soluzioni tecniche basate sulle esigenze produttive e artistiche dei progetti
Definire priorità, pianificare e organizzare il lavoro della propria squadra, in coordinamento con il Responsabile R&D e il Project Manager
Lavorare a stretto contatto con i reparti creativi per garantire che il sistema di rendering soddisfi le esigenze e risponda agli obiettivi visivi
Fare da mentore e aiutare i colleghi a sviluppare le proprie capacità e potenzialità
Migliorare attivamente le competenze e le abilità proprie e del proprio team tenendosi al corrente delle tendenze e delle tecniche del settore
Creare documentazione dettagliata e altamente accessibile per interlocutori tecnici e non tecnici
Esplorare e proporre soluzioni tecnologiche anche di pura R&D come stimolo e opportunità per i reparti produttivi
Requisiti
Minimo 7 anni di esperienza nell'industria videoludica
Esperienza precedente in ruolo analogo
Capacità di lavorare in modo indipendente ed efficiente nel rispetto delle scadenze assegnate
Capacità di pianificare e prioritizzare le attività di un gruppo di lavoro
Capacità di collaborare e relazionarsi in maniera efficace con altre figure quali Tech Art, Artist e Designer
Capacità di comunicare in modo chiaro e conciso sia con interlocutori tecnici che non tecnici
Esperienza di sviluppo su titoli AA o AAA per console e PC
Forti competenze di matematica 3D
Ottima conoscenza del C++
Ottima capacità di creare codice efficiente, robusto e riutilizzabile
Capacità di lavorare responsabilmente su architetture di grandi dimensioni
Buona conoscenza di Unreal Engine
Solida conoscenza dei principi di Rendering
Solida conoscenza delle principali API grafiche
Esperienza con le moderne GPU su piattaforme di gioco di ultima generazione
Avanzate capacità di debug e ottimizzazione CPU/GPU
REQUISITI PREFERENZIALI
Conoscenza di strumenti di terze parti come Maya, Houdini e Z-Brush in termini di funzionamento all'interno di una pipeline grafica
Esperienza di lavoro in modalità Agile
Conoscenza e utilizzo di Confluence e Jira
Conoscenza e utilizzo di Perforce
Passione per i videogiochi
Passione per gli sport motoristici
