About the role


This role will generate revenue/profit margin selling AIG insurance, services, or products directly to consumers, organizations, or third parties including brokers, agents, or other distribution channels.


It's expected that the execution of the above activities will be managed mainly on the field, by visiting partners and meeting clients.

This in order to manage and increase the assigned portfolio and/or perform training activities on the products

About the role


You will contribute to the growth and profitability of AIG AESA unit by providing administration support to specific Lines of Business in Italy, assisting the UW community.

You will serve both internal & external customers by completing administrative tasks for specific LOB underwriters; responding to customer requests; resolving complaints & maintaining data quality in systems.

Consistently meet service levels and performance targets in terms of volume, accuracy and quality.

This role reports to the Country Operations Manager.

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Partner with underwriters and COE partners for end-to-end processing of new, renewal business as well as endorsements.
  • Participate in prebinding activities.
  • Liaising with brokers/clients, gather information necessary to prepare quotes (either for new submissions or renewals) and update raters, update raters when deemed necessary
  • Prepare the referral documentation
  • Issue quotes upon receiving instructions from the Underwiter
  • Decline submission request if not within UW guidelines


  • Capture information/documents

  • Transaction file management
  • Participate in postbinding and servicing activities:
  • Update rater/systems when deemed necessary
  • Policy booking and issuance:
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of issuing & booking instructions and followup on outstanding policies before handoff to operations,
  • Support preparation of Binder/slip, policy, and endorsement for the SSC to issue
  • Work closely with risk engineering and underwriting to ensure risk engineering program is being executed
  • Support underwriters around necessary gathering and processing of documentation for purchased reinsurance (as applicable).
  • Liaise with brokers/clients to obtain information needed to prepare adjustments on policies where premium is based on rate (TO, travel, salaries,)
  • Partners with the Collection department:
  • Handles Finance queries (through Live Ledger & e
- mail)

  • Support their effort to recover unpaid premium
  • Work with underwriters:
  • Setup systems and underwriting platforms.
  • Provide technical direction to underwriting on workflow management tools : research & resolve processing problems in workflow management tools
  • Assist w. data/portfolio management
  • Assist with Data Integrity together with underwriting: Rate Change, actual to technical, linesize, limits and premium reports are checked against rater and underwriters view to ensure consistency.
  • Support UW projects on an adhoc basis
  • Compliance/Conduct support
  • Support the completion and binding of raters in a timely manner
  • Support UW with reviewing outstanding quotes and ensuring timeliness of booking instructions
  • Support UW during Audit preparation by gathering necessary information
  • Support UW with addressing complaints

What we're looking for:

  • Prioritizing able to navigate and switch between multiple systems.
  • Microsoft Office advanced knowledge, especially Excel
  • Client Servicing ability to anticipate client (internal and external) needs and act proactively.
  • Problem Solving identify problems and solutions matched to the appropriate solutions.
  • Attention to Detail demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Master local country language(s), working knowledge of English (equivalent to B2 Level of CEFR) both written and spoken additional language a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good time management skills ability to handle multiple priorities, organise work and meet deadlines
