Make your mark in Underwriting

AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals.

We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model, and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways.

How you will create an impact

This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Cyber.
Your relationships with brokers will be key to your success. You will need to provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting.

You will also aim to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market - in line with a sales plan established with your manager.

Another key aspect of the role is the provision of accurate monthly management information including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.

What you'll need to succeed

The ability to analyze financial statements.
Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
